Yep. I wrote:

You replied that you didn't believe me. I suppose you do now, right?

Hows that?

Uhh. Joel, are you really claiming that MS specifically targetted you in
early Windows 11 to remind you of something you'd done?
Okay, I'm sure i'm going to regret this... But, I'll bite. What did you do?
And what did they leave for you to remind you in an Early copy of Windows
11? Do you by chance remember the build # where you first discovered this
umm, present?
Exactly how would they target you in order to do this?

Heh. Don't get too attached. It's not the last version, either.

Ehm. Okay. What does that have to do with MS blacklisting your machine from
being able to run Windows? IRC? Oh, I bet you're a ray of fucking sunshine
there. Which network(s) did you frequent?
And what was the reason you went back to Windows? Something in particular
you needed to be able to do that your distro of Linux, or any distro for
that matter couldn't deal with?

Ok, my bad. Again, though, Why did you think MS had black listed you from
Windows? Just how do you think they'd really be able to do that?

C'mon man. Reality is this way. --> Come back over here. FFS.

I did. It doesn't really answer my question.

What in the fucking hell!? Bro, c'mon now. Let's stop talking BS here.
You've done enough of that already. Ugh, I know I'm going to be sorry for
asking this... especially now. But, what was the thing they did with Windows
11 that clearly targetted you?
I disagree with people assuming you're a sock of someone else. Nope, I think
you're actually a real person, with, real issues. None of which I'm going to
poke around in. It's your private business as far as I'm concerned. You've
never really made a hostile move towards me, so I have no issues with you.

Ahh, okay. That sounds a hella lot more reasonable and coherent than what
you wrote above. :)

ROFLMFAO!!! Okay, that makes sense. Hey, it's cool man. Some can hang while
uhh, having a toke or two. Some, hehe, like you, I sort of envy the low
tolerance you have to it. I actually used to score bags of free toke by
smoking the host under. <G>
Heh, when I started toking (this was ages ago), my umm, anger and
aggression; my uhh, issues mostly all went away. The alternative school I
was uhh, visiting for three years (hehe, oops. I fucked up there didn't I?
Yea, I'm not perfect); those psy people, educators, etc, the entire support
staff all thought I was good to go back to public school. I was fine now.
Uhh no, bad idea. I was getting high on the weekends, non school nights with
my dad. Sure, I was much more chilled than I was when I first got there, but
it wasn't due to the stuff we had to do as a team, etc. it was entirely
because I was toking on the weekends.
This wasn't an ordinary kind of school. Nothing like what you'd expect. For
example, I'd never seen a teacher leave his desk, and not only cut a student
off at the pass (he tried to leave class), but football style tackle the
poor fucker to the ground. He was about my build too, so.. umm, yea, that
was something new to me.
We did some school work, I suppose. I don't remember having to actually make
much of an effort to do the school work. I never had home work from there. I
kept making honor roll, and honestly, I wasn't trying to. I was just more
relaxed there; I could focus on the work asked of me, and not how the fuck
I'm going to get out of the classroom in one piece. Or get to my next class
without getting the shit kicked out of me en route to it.
But to give you an idea of the kind of place it was that I got sent to, do
you know what a trust fall is? I bet Snit does.
We uhh, worked on things like that. I was with other people, other students
of various ages from different places all over the upper northeast that had
umm issues which caused them, along with me, not to exactly fit in in public
school for various reasons.
I spent three years in that umm place. I was supposed to go ahead and
graduate a year early; I already earned the credits. But, since I was doing
so damn good (again, I was getting high on the weekends, on non school
nights) they thought it best to take one english credit away from me. Which
meant, I had to serve another year; only it would be my senior one in high
school. Public school. With the same classmates I wasn't chums with in the
8th grade. It was a very small town dude, only about 1100 of us in the damn
school.
Three years, heh, makes no fucking difference either. My classmates hadn't
matured much, if any; they were just a lot fucking bigger than I remembered
them being. Heh, you should have seen the look on the bus drivers face the
first morning she stopped and I got on her bus. She hadn't seen me in over
three years. Honestly, I really didn't wanna step foot onto it. I remember
hesitating infact. lol. Yea, I really wasn't up for this, I didn't think
this was a good idea at all. Needless to say, I turned out being right, it
was a very very bad idea. Ever been picked up from behind, and thrown so
well that you completely cleared four desks? And, had time to roll up like a
turtle so when you landed against the fucking wall, you wouldn't be
seriously injured? Well, I have. It wasn't any fun.
And that's when I discovered, that, if I was pissed off enough, I could walk
about 16 miles or so back home, in the fucking middle of winter in Maine,
back to my fucking house. It didn't seem like it took that long either.
I left the classroom, headed to the first floor. Evidently the teacher had
already called the main office by then. Some asshat adult I didn't know, the
gc who thought this was such a good idea, and the assistant principle. All
towards the front doors. "Where are you going Dustin?" "I'm going home
fuckers. Get the fuck out of my way or i'm going to drop the first one of
you who tries to stop me." the gc tried it. I made good on what I told him,
extra special for him. I damn sure did. The other two parted like noah doing
the fucking waters.
I hated that fucking place.
So yea sure, I have issues, Nowhere near perfect. Along with everyone else
on this fucking rock we all call home. it's not that I hate my own kind,
don't get me wrong, Joel. It's more that I have a strong disdain for the
majority of them. I have and keep a very close, but small, circle of people
I call a friend around me. That is when I feeling like going out and doing
something that isn't work related.

I have no idea what you looked at. I obviously wasn't there. I've no doubt
what you built is a decent and superior rig. That was the whole point in
spending the extra money, after all. You could have bought some name brand
pile of shit, but usable for many, much cheaper.

obsolete, yet, still in use, and still manufactured today. For various
reasons. Data integrity over the offerings of SSD being one. If an HDD fucks
up, even click of death; you can probably still recover data, possibly all
of it. If an SSD drive fucks up due to an issue with the firmware on the
controller or a hw issue, you aren't getting umm, much of anything back.
Just ask WD about that. 3 class action lawsuit efforts against them that I
know of, so far.

WTF? Why would you want to do that?

I figured a few video shares and some techie discussion covering them would
get the point across without my having to come off as a complete asshole
towards you.
Thanks for having a reasonable discussion with me. It was unexpected, yet
for the most part, enjoyable. Have a good rest of your week!
